Workshop: Raycast as your AI-native command layer

We have officially arrived at the AI economy. In times when the speed of execution accelerates on a daily basis, personal excellence is the only thing that matters on a workplace. In that setup, mastering reliable tools that act as continuation of our neural paths, is not optional anymore.

1ar labs partners with Serviceplan’s Plan.net and NMKR to deliver a free online workshop on how to use Raycast as a connecting tissue, a layer that sits on top of everything you already use - your web-tools, your project management tool, your file system, your AI assistant, your note taking system. Whether you are a designer, copywriter, project manager, or developer - the workflows apply.

What we will cover

Why this even matters (intro by 1ar labs)

Personal toolkits and mechanical mastery as the new moat for cognitive workers. Why personal excellence with tools is as important as hard/soft skills at the moment and what does this have to do with professional e-Sport.

Raycast from zero to useful (~15 min, by 1ar labs)

How Raycast fits in and what it actually does. We start with the basics and go deep fast.

Building your own tools (~10 min, by 1ar labs)

Raycast is extensible. Anyone can compose a bespoke toolset. Personal showcase of Bridges, an open-source extension by 1ar labs, that lets you connect any REST API, MCP server, or CLI tool to Raycast AI by describing what you want in plain English.

Agents inside your launcher (~10 min, by Patrick Tobler)

How Masumi ecosystem fills the gap for long-running, complex tasks. Patrick Tobler (CEO, NMKR) will demo Sokosumi’s agents - showing what happens when on-device tooling meets the power of remote AI-colleagues.

Practical Q&A and workflow clinic (~15-20 min)

For this first smaller edition, we are keeping the final block hands-on: your questions, workflow ideas, setup issues, and where Raycast fits into AI-native work. The Raycast-team Q&A is better suited for a larger follow-up session, so it will not be part of this run.
